The Consultation
Our first step is a relaxed phone call where we talk through your vision, the moments that matter most, and how each collection could support your day. We’ll walk through an early timeline so I understand how to document your story well. After the call, I’ll send a personalized proposal for you to look over.
Planning
Once you’re booked, we plan your Black Hills engagement session, and I send over my wedding guide full of tips for a smooth day. Around six months out, a simple questionnaire helps build your photo timeline. You choose your level of involvement while I keep everything clear, calm, and organized.
Your Wedding Day
On your wedding day, I blend into the background and capture the story as it naturally unfolds. I guide fully during portraits and stay hands off during the rest, keeping everything calm and adaptable. You can trust that every meaningful moment I’m present for will be documented with care.
Gallery Delivery
Your full gallery is delivered within 6 to 8 weeks through an online collection that is easy to download and share. You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of coverage, organized into thoughtful sections so you can relive your day with fresh eyes and rediscover moments you may have missed.

Questions
How far out do we need to book?
Most couples inquire about a year before their date so we can plan engagement portraits and secure your spot. Summer and September fill quickly, but same-year bookings are sometimes available.
Do you Travel?
Yes. I mainly work in the Black Hills but happily travel for weddings. Travel fees vary by location, and we’ll talk through everything during your consultation.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. I offer payment plans of up to 12 monthly payments, with a $1,000 non-refundable retainer at booking. Final payment is always due before your wedding day.
Can we order prints and albums?
Yes. I offer custom-designed albums and professional prints through your online gallery. You choose your cover, debossing, and images to make it truly yours.
Who are your second shooters?
I work with trusted, experienced second shooters who use professional gear. Not all collections include one, but you can add a second shooter for $500.
Can we see a full wedding gallery?
Of course. I share full wedding galleries upon request so you can see an entire wedding day. I also have a sample gallery on my blog highlighting key moments.
How many hours of coverage do we need?
Eight hours fits most weddings well. Six hours works for small, single-location days, while ten hours is ideal for multiple locations or a relaxed timeline.
