I'm Charity
Not just a photographer—capturing your love story with authenticity and heart.
I'm a follower of Christ and married to my best friend, Brian, and it's our mission to go on as many mountain adventures as we can and make the most out of our life together. I'm always in the mood for a new adventure and on the lookout for innovative ways to improve my craft.
When I'm not documenting love stories, I spend my days relaxing at home with my dog, chickens, and—of course—snuggling up on the couch with my husband as we watch some corny 80s and 90s movies.
I've always been drawn to the concept of slow, intentional living—living LIFE in the moment. That's why I believe the most beautiful images are the ones the subject is unaware of the camera. The image of the groom watching his bride walk down the aisle—ready to become his lifelong companion.

My journey into photography started with a love for God’s beautiful creation and capturing people within it. There’s something magical about documenting love and connection in breathtaking landscapes.

I fell in love with photography as a sophomore in high school, scouring Craigslist until I found a camera that I could afford (a Canon Rebel XT). I started taking senior portraits of my friends & was asked to photograph a wedding when I was 16! I fell in love with weddings & the rest is history.
Every session is a new experience, a fresh story waiting to be told. My style is true to life with a touch of softness, capturing your day as it unfolds—real, honest, and timeless.

When your wedding day arrives, I’ll be there—calm, ready, and excited to capture every moment. From the quiet anticipation of getting ready to the energy of the dance floor, I’ll document it all while keeping the day stress-free. With years of experience, I know how to keep things flowing smoothly, stepping in when needed and letting the day happen naturally. My goal is for you to be fully present, knowing every moment is being captured.
I’ll be there for the in-between moments—the deep breaths before walking down the aisle, the way your partner looks at you, the laughter shared with loved ones, and the happy tears you might not even notice. Whether I’m blending into the background for candid shots or offering gentle direction during portraits, I’ll make sure your photos reflect the true emotions of the day. Nothing stiff or overly posed—just natural, honest, beautifully you.
When the day is over, your photos will bring you right back. The way your dress moved as you walked, the sound of laughter from your favorite people, the feeling of joy—it will all be there. Long after the music fades and flowers dry, your photos will be the lasting reminder of one of the best days of your life.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me baking (mostly for others, though), curled up with a good book, or spending time with my mini Aussie, Luca. My husband and I travel often, visiting family in Colorado, and I’m always looking for an excuse to head into the Black Hills or explore the Badlands—my absolute favorite spot to shoot.
I find a lot of peace in these little moments, whether it’s the fresh air on a mountain hike or the quiet of reading at home. Travel keeps me inspired, and I’m always up for an adventure. Whether it’s a big trip or a local adventure, I carry the same energy and passion with me into every wedding I document.
That’s a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favorite things. No matter who or where we are, we’re all souls wandering this beautiful earth with a different story to share. And that’s why I LOVE documenting love stories (and hopefully yours too!).
