Based near Rapid City, I photograph weddings and portraits across the Black Hills with a documentary, down-to-earth approach.
We believe your wedding day should feel like you — joyful, sacred, and true to your story. Our approach is calm, intuitive, and focused on capturing the honest beauty of each moment as it naturally unfolds. Through thoughtful direction and quiet observation, we create images that feel timeless and deeply personal.
Capturing love stories since 2015
I’m married to my best friend, Brian, and we spend our days chasing mountain views and snuggling our dogs while watching cheesy 80s and 90s movies. Life for us is simple, intentional, and full of meaning, and I carry that same spirit into every wedding and portrait session I photograph. In 2023, Brian and I eloped in the Black Hills with my brother-in-law

officiating and my sister-in-law and seven-year-old niece standing beside us as witnesses. It was quiet, lighthearted, and deeply personal, the kind of day that reminded me why I believe so strongly in honest storytelling.
The most powerful photos are never forced. They’re found in the in-between moments: a bride’s breath just before walking the aisle, a groom’s emotional smile, the way hands reach for one another without a second thought. My goal is to help you stay present and fully yourself while I quietly capture the moments that matter.
"Timeless moments we’ll cherish for a lifetime."
Charity at Beneath the Spruce was a dream to work with. Her communication was timely, upbeat, and thoughtful, and the quality of her work was exceptional — full of light, detail, and care. She guided us through a wide range of poses and made sure everyone was included in such an organized and gracious way. Beyond the portraits, she captured candid moments between my husband and me that we’ll cherish forever. Her work speaks for itself, but her warmth and professionalism truly set her apart.
