What happens if the weather is bad?
We’ll go ahead with your session unless the weather is extreme. Overcast skies are actually ideal. Light rain or wind is fine. Dress for the temps, and bring water on hot days.
How do we choose a location?
If you don’t have a spot in mind, I’ll share client-only location options after booking. Each has different scenery, so we can match the look you’re hoping for.
What should we wear?
Neutrals photograph beautifully outdoors. Avoid loud prints and choose outfits with some movement. I’ll send a full style guide before your session to make planning easy.
When is the best time for photos?
Soft, flattering light happens just after sunrise or before sunset. I typically shoot within two hours of either, depending on the look you’re wanting.
How long are portrait sessions?
Portrait sessions range from 30 minutes to two hours, depending on the collection you choose. We’ll have plenty of time for both prompts and lightly posed moments.
Can we bring pets or props?
Absolutely. Pets are always welcome. Props work best when kept simple—think blankets, champagne, or ultrasound photos. Overly trendy items tend to date images quickly.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Portrait galleries are delivered within 2–4 weeks. You’ll receive an online gallery where you can download your images and order prints if you’d like.
