Hey there! I just had to share this amazing maternity session that I had in downtown Kansas City, Missouri with my friends Megan and Dalton. They were expecting their first baby, a beautiful little girl named Sadie. It was such a fun session, exploring all the cool spots in downtown KC and capturing their excitement as they prepared to become parents.

We had such a blast during the shoot, but I have to say, one of the highlights for me was our little break at Insomnia Cookies. After wandering around and taking some awesome shots, we were all in need of a sugar boost. So, we popped into this amazing cookie shop and indulged in some seriously delicious cookies. I opted for a classic chocolate chip, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

It was so nice to catch up with Megan during this session, too. She’s one of my best friends, and being able to capture this special time in her life was such a privilege. Seeing her glow with anticipation and hearing all about her hopes and dreams for little Sophie was truly heartwarming. I couldn’t be happier for her and Dalton!

I just wanted to take a moment to say a big congrats to Megan and Dalton on this exciting journey they’re embarking on. I know they’re going to be amazing parents, and I’m honored to have been a part of their maternity session. This is the kind of stuff that makes photography so incredibly rewarding – being able to freeze these precious moments in time and create memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
