So this summer, I had the most amazing photo session with this adorable couple named Grace and Ty, and I couldn’t wait to tell you all about it! They were celebrating their first dating anniversary and wanted to get some super fun photos together. And let me tell you, it was an absolute blast from beginning to end.

We decided to have the session at James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife Area in Lees Summit, Missouri. The location was absolutely perfect, with its stunning natural beauty and serene environment. It provided the ideal backdrop for some truly timeless and romantic shots.

To make the shoot even more special, I brought along a bottle of sparkling cider. I thought, hey, why not have them do a champagne spray to celebrate? And let me tell you, it was such a fun and memorable moment. The look on their faces was priceless as they sprayed the cider in the air, toasting to their love and the milestone they were celebrating.

We spent the afternoon exploring the area, finding hidden spots that exuded the perfect mood for their pictures. Grace and Ty were such a fun couple to work with. They were so comfortable in front of the camera, and their chemistry just radiated in every shot. It was evident that their love was genuine and deep.

As the sun started to set, we stumbled upon a picturesque lake and couldn’t resist the temptation to get a little adventurous. Grace and Ty playfully splashed each other, laughing and letting their carefree spirits guide the moment. It was a joy to capture those candid moments of pure happiness and love.
